What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between client and coach that crafts a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires clients to maximize their personal and professional potential.

My specific kind of coaching allows you to see beyond the surface and get to the core of the issue. This approach is called Core Energy™ Coaching and focuses on going inward before going outward as well as change and our reactions to it. As a Core Energy Coach, I help clients not only manage, but thrive, in the face of change by developing our self-awareness and understanding.

How can Coaching serve DEI?

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training and learning are essential. However, coaching is the next step where ingrained beliefs, assumptions, fears, and blocks that impede true diverse and inclusive contexts can be brought to light and discussed.

I can’t stress enough the power of coaching in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Self-awareness is always the first step when implementing DEI initiatives and coaching allows for this deep reflection in order to develop ownership of the process. One-on-one Coaching

You know you have a role to play and want to take action to make a real impact. Through 1:1 coaching, we discover and deal with deep-rooted behaviors and perspectives that might be making true inclusion difficult and find support in effecting change.

The Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) is a one-of-a-kind attitudinal assessment that enables individuals to hold up mirrors to their perceptions, attitudes, behaviors, and overall leadership capabilities. Differently than a test such as the Myers Brigss or other personality tests which can label people, this assessment can help you learn not who you are but how you approach work and life situations, projects, and tasks under optimal and stressful conditions. The ELI measures your attitude, or perception and perspective of the world – how you see the world. This perception of the world can create our realities. But attitude and perception are subjective and can be altered. We’ve all heard it – change your attitude, and you’ll change your world. By working with a Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner Coach, you can modify your attitude and perspective, become more self-aware, create new realities and, yes, change the world.
